These individuals were each awarded $250 because they are currently enrolled in either a two-year or four-year college or university, majoring in their respective curriculums; and they have been involved in some capacity at Engle Lane Theatre in the past five years.  Community Players of Streator, Inc. is proud to have contributed $6,750 in 2014 to help further the education of these young theatre enthusiasts.

When asked how their experience at Engle Lane Theatre has impacted their personal development, some of their responses included the following:

“I would not be where I am or who I am today without the experiences I gained from being involved at Engle Lane Theatre.  I feel continually supported in all of my endeavors and hope to someday tell the whole world where I got my start.”

“The attitude of the cast and crew along with the staff at Engle Lane Theatre was overwhelmingly positive.  I personally have never felt more welcome as a new member of the Engle Lane family, and I look forward to participating in more productions in the future.”

“Through Engle Lane I have found a second home and have found what I truly love doing with who I love doing it with.”
